People assume the hard part of working from a motorhome is the travelling. It is not. The hard part is the ordinary stuff: a desk that is the right height, a chair your back forgives, power that does not run out at 3pm, and a signal good enough for a call that cannot drop.
The setup
We built the day around a fold-away desk and a routine that does not care where we are parked. Everything has a home. Everything gets put back. In four and a half square metres, mess is not untidy, it is unworkable.
Power and internet
The two things that decide whether a day is billable or not. We will go into the exact kit another time, but the short version is: more battery than you think, and never trust a single way of getting online.
The routine
The routine is what makes it work. Same start time, same shutdown, whether the window looks out on a car park or a glacier.
